Which server are you playing?
I'm playing on Harbinger and we have a healthy population here.
And SW:TOR is a story driven game,
so if you want to focus on end game and loots,
you will be disappointed for sure.
Making some alts to PLAY the REAL CONTENTS is much much more
enjoyable than sitting on the fleet.
And still, you can try warzones that are very exciting.
I have a bounty hunter powertech she leveled form 10 to 37,
almost only by fighting in warzones.
This is not a grind for me because I want to play so I played the warzones.
Loots or valors or other rewards are good bonus, that is true.
But I play the game to entertain myself, not played by a carrot on a stick.
If I get bored some day I will quit this game easily and silently,
without ranting on the forums.
Play as you want, or quit as you like.
You choosed to PLAY this game, not forced to WORK for EA/BW.
And, Mass Effect 3 seems awesome! Only played about 3 hours though.
