A strange thought struck me after winning Neverwinter Nights, mainly about how the storyline involving Aribeth reminded me of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker's tale. Now, just think about it for a minute...

Aribeth: Ditto.
Darth Vader: Manipulated by the cruel and ruthless Emperor Palpatine.
Aribeth: Manipulated by the cruel and ruthless Queen Morag.
Darth Vader: Returned to the light after being defeated in a battle.
Aribeth: Returned to the light after being defeated in a battle.
Darth Vader: Played a large role in destroying the Republic he once served.
Aribeth: Played a large role in almost destroying the city she once served.
Darth Vader: Lost his lover, probably under less-than-ideal circumstances.
Aribeth: Lost her lover, in less-than-ideal circumstances.
Darth Vader: Thanked Luke for "saving" him.
Aribeth: Thanked the player for "saving" her.
Darth Vader: Wears a cool black suit.
Aribeth: Wears cool black armor.
Darth Vader: Fights with a glowing red lightsaber.
Aribeth: Fights with a glowing red bastard sword.
Any thoughts? Think the guys at Bioware are SW fans at all?
