The High Court has provisionally suspended the strike action in Spain's
professional football leagues called for by the Spanish Football Players'
Association (AFE) and set for this weekend.
In the ruling, the magistrates have given a condition to the suspending of
the strike: a cautionary €5 million that the LFP must deposit in a bank
account before 15:00 today, Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Sports Council, the AFE and the LFP continue working towards
an agreement.
The Royal Federation of Spanish Football (RFEF) has also officially announced
that "the competitions will be held in accordance with the calendar that has
been set."

OFFICIAL COMMIQUÉ BY THE SPANISH NATIONAL FOOTBALL FEDERATION
Taking into account the order made by the High Court on this day, the Spanish
Football Federation proceedes to lift the measure agreed on May 6, 2015,
providing that the competitions are played according to the schedule and
times originally planned.
Notice to the clubs and Sport Associations of First, Second and Second "B"
Divisions of the Professional National Football League, the regional level
federations and the Technical Committee of Referees.
