Rays relief pitcher Adam Russell hopes to strike out breast cancer

St. Petersburg, FL -- One of the Tampa Bay Rays' pitchers is speaking out
about the importance of early detection.
Rays reliever Adam Russell spent the off season taking care of his niece and
nephew in Cleveland while his sister, Tracy, went through chemotherapy. She
was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and Russell wanted to do what he
could to help out. Russell's other sister opted for a double mastectomy as a
preventative measure.

Adam Russell之前休季時，在克里夫蘭照顧他的小姪女和姪子，因為他姐姐Tracy必需去
做化療。Tracy 被診斷出患有第四期乳癌(第四期乳癌，表示癌細胞已經擴散到其他器官
; 如骨骼、肺、肝、腦)，也因此Russell去幫姐姐忙，做一些他能做的事。Russell的另
外一位姐姐，也在乳癌篩檢中診斷患有此病，所以選擇做了雙全乳切除手術。
Russell wanted to share his family's personal story in the hopes that it will
help someone else catch cancer early and not make the mistake of believing it
only happens to post-menopausal women.
"I know she said before she was a little late on getting checked and things
like that 'cause she thought it was an older woman type of problem. And it's
just not the case," Russell said.
Russell wants to start a foundation and continue to raise awareness about the
importance of early detection.
Russell分享他家人的故事並希望他能幫助一些人早期預防癌症，而且不要誤信乳癌只發
生在更年期過後的女人身上的說法。Russell提到：『我記得她說過，因為相信乳癌只會
是年紀較大的女人問題，所以她不過晚了那麼一點作檢查，事情就發生了。』
Russell想要創辦個基金會，繼續提醒大家認知對早期乳房篩檢的重要性。

另外我想對上面那篇我翻的外電道歉，其中一句dearly departed Carlos Pena，
特別是dearly departed，我今天又找了幾次是針對形容死人的用法，應該是沒問題
的。
如果只有“departed”翻“離開，離職”應該就好了，
因dearly所以確認原作者是那種超死忠的光芒迷而且對Carlos Pena很不爽，
原本想翻出原作的意思，但又覺此意甚是惡毒，所以選擇用“背離”=“不忠”，
翻譯沒拿捏好，因此以後我會避免翻到這類型的引戰文，非常抱歉。
