Omar Rodriguez-Lopez跟John合作過很多次，
兩年前也有聯名出過一張數位專輯，本板往前找可找到 XD
Omar因為The Mars Volta即將推出第六張專輯"Nocturniquet"而受訪，
談到了常年的合作夥伴John，而"Nocturniquet"也是第一張John未曾參與製作的專輯。
節錄如下
Have you stayed in touch with other frequent collaborators, such as John
Frusciante?
你跟其他長年合作的夥伴還有聯絡嗎？例如John Frusciante？
Yeah, of course. He’s one of my closest friends.
當然，他是我最親密的朋友之一。
You’ve definitely recorded some great material together on each other’s
albums and other projects; is there any chance that might happen again?
你們兩個在彼此的專輯或是其他企劃中，共同錄製過許多相當棒的作品。
你們未來還有機會再合作嗎？
Maybe in the future, but John’s in a different place right now. He’s in a
place where he couldn’t care less about putting things out or about
something being a product. He’s living by different standards right now with
a different philosophy, so he doesn’t want to be a part of anything that he
knows is going to end up being a product. A Mars Volta record definitely ends
up being a product.
之後應該有機會。但是John現在正在嘗試不一樣的東西。
他目前專心在他的工作，沒法抽空來發行作品或專輯。
他現在的標準與哲學思維都不同了，
所以他現在不想花時間去做一件，最終只是一件成品的事情。
而Mars Volta的的專輯就是一件成品。
也就是說，John的新專輯短時間內是不會出來了嗎........orz
John似乎已經進入了一種超凡入聖的境界了。(膜拜)
