It might still be early to declare the Detroit Pistons the winners
in a summer trade with the Phoenix Suns.

Bulls on Friday night, head coach Stan Van Gundy is taking credit
for Marcus Morris.

Thriving so much so that Van Gundy said the offense had to lean on
Morris and Reggie Jackson who added 22 points, for scoring in the
third quarter.

Morris scored 15 of his 18 second-half points in the third quarter,
on 6-of-8 shooting, that helped ignite the Pistons following a

"Being more aggressive," Morris said. "Playing more aggressive,

"(Stan's) put me in the spots for me to be successful, and I'm

He's become a consistent go-to threat early in games, allowing
for Andre Drummond to get comfortable in the block, something
