The Pistons' 100-99 loss to the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday came after
two days of practice plus one day of rest. It followed the biggest blowout
this season, a 32-point thumping by Golden State on Saturday.

The Hornets were on the second night of a back-to-back. They were out two
starters in David West and Tyson Chandler

rebounds they converted for 24 second-chance points. Overall, the Pistons
