[問題] 內能之於質量
【出處】Halliday 9ed Ch.44 p.1233 倒數第七行開始
【題目】Nearly all of the proton's mass is due to the internal energies of
the quark motion and the fields that bind the quarks together.
【瓶頸】照上述文字所述,質子質量其實是夸克的內能和束縛能的表現。
想問的是,這樣的概念是否可以延伸到巨觀的物理系統?
(例如一團氣體分子或一塊金屬的內能增加會使其質量增加)
就自己目前的認知,內能增加在巨觀的表現上好像是溫度增加而非質量增加,
個人推想在巨觀系統下的可能是:
1. 其實質量也會增加,只是因為增加的量太微小,以致於難以測量。
2. 質量會增加,只是自己書唸太少沒唸到相關的實驗。
3. 質量不會增加(想不出來要怎麼解釋)
4. 其他
