the internal energy.
a)the heat capacity of a non-metallic solid at very low temperatures
typically varies aT^3 a=const how does its internal energy vary?
b)suppose that the molar energy of a substance over a limited temperature
range can be expressed as a polynomial in T as U=a+bT^2+cT^3
find an expression for the const volume molar heat capacity at a temperatue T
