A charged harmonic oscillator of mass m=1 and charge q=1 is oscillating under the influence of a spring with natural frequency ω'=(k/m)^(1/2) , where k=1 is the force constant ,and is found in the ground state. If suddenly an external electrical field E=1 is turned on such that the total potential of system becomes (1/2)m(ω'x)^2 -qEx (a) Show that by change of variable the system equivalent to another harmonic oscillator. what is the new frequency ω?
