[閒聊] 有人也看過Stephen Hawking的A Brief History of Time嗎
目前讀第一章Our Picture of The Universe
說到St. Augustine被問到"What did God do before he created the universe?"
(上帝在創造宇宙前作什麼)
作者很幽默地說St. Augustine並沒有回答"He was preparing Hell for people who
asked such questions." (他在準備一個地獄，如果有人問這問題要把他丟進去)....

P.S. 關於宇宙的生成，大哲學家康德曾經討論過：
"The questions of whether the universe had a beginning in time and whether
it is limited in space were later extensively examined by the philosopher
Immanuel Kant in his monumental (and very obscure) work Critique of Pure
Reason, published in 1781."
