A team of three researchers is conducting a human motion study using 5
video cameras. Each of the cameras is situated on a camera base (similar to a
tripod stand with a rounded base), which is 30 cm in diameter. The coefficient
of friction between the floor and the camera stand-base is 0.2. The researchers
attempt to move the camera stand by pushing against the upper-right with force,
F at the location 100 cm above the floor. The center of gravity of the stand
(plus the camera) is 70 cm above the floor. As the researchers push, will the
stand slide as intended or tip over?

A female microbiologist whose head weighs 5 Kg is looking into a
microscope. What tension the neck extensor muscle must exert to support the
head in this position, and what is the compression force on the first cervical
vertebra? If the person takes a 10-minute break for every 50 minutes work, do
you expect the person to experience significant muscle fatigue in 4 hours?
