Virology laboratory chances in Universitätsklinikum Erlangen, Germany
Prof. M. Marschall, in the Institute of Clinical and Molecular Virology at
Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, provides
laboratory chances to Internship, Master, Bachelor, Honours, or scientific
guests.
Prof. Marschall leads a research group studying the regulatory protein
kinases in herpesvirus infections, host–pathogen interactions, and antiviral
therapy. Using human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) as the research model, his groups
have published several significant virology studies in top journals worldwide

Laboratory chance is now available for applicants with financial support for
stay (apartment, scholarship, etc.) by the start of the new year. Applicants
from Taiwan applying for "The NSTC-DAAD program", the " Ministry of Science
and Technology Overseas Project for Post-Graduate Research", or similar full
scholarships will be mostly recommended. If the person brings financial
possibilities, Prof. Marschall will cover all laboratory and scientific costs.
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants must have interests in virology research, not limited to a biology
background. People with cross-disciplinary experience or skill, e.g., AI,
deep learning analysis, molecular drug design, or drug screening, will be
most welcome. The candidate must be highly motivated and independent with
English writing and communication skills.
