[問題] 期刊投稿圖片格式
第一次投稿期刊有許多不懂的地方
以下是期刊對於圖片格式的部分說明：
Figure captions
Ensure that each illustration has a caption. Supply captions separately, not
attached to the figure. A caption should comprise a brief title (not on the
figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Keep text in the
illustrations themselves to a minimum but explain all symbols and
abbreviations used.
這邊不了解所謂 Figure captions的意思
一般paper裡面圖片內容都是

Fig 1. 圖標題及相關說明
此期刊要求圖片和caption要分開，想請問 Figure caption指的就是圖標題和相關說明嗎?
但是分開來到時候看到的檔案不就一頁只有一張圖也不知道是什麼，要閱讀很困難
然後Keep text in the illustrations這一句也不了解，圖片那頁又要加說明?
感覺是個人誤解了意思，想請各位先進幫忙，感謝!
