Adam Mickiewicz University是一所國立大學，它創立於1519年，在目前是波蘭最大的
學術中心之一。它擁有超過2100個教學人員、34000多個學生以及1700多個管理和技術人
員．該學校政治民主，學術環境自由，各學院擁有較強的自治性．如今的AMU作為一所國
立大學，擁有大約3000名講師，52，000名學生和2000名學校職工，是波蘭排名前三的大
學之一。
