New Orleans' West misses game for baby INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- New Orleans Hornets forward David West missed Tuesday's ga me against the Indiana Pacers to be with his wife and newborn child, team spoke sman Scott Hall said. West's child was born Thursday. West leads the team with 16.8 points and 7.8 re bounds per game. Jackson Vroman got his first start of the season in West's place.
