Subjectivity is an exciting and innovative transdisciplinary journal in the
social sciences. Re-launched by Palgrave Macmillan in 2008, it examines the
socio-political, cultural, historical and material processes, dynamics and
structures of human experience.

The journal critically addresses the intersection between psychoanalysis and
the social world and explores the roles psychoanalysis might play in bringing
about social justice and progressive social change. It welcomes submissions
from a broad range of disciplines and schools of thought but will be of
primary interest to psychoanalytically informed scholars in the social and
political sciences, media, cultural and literary studies, and to clinicians
and practitioners concerned to explore the relationship between the social
and the psychic.
