Phoenix Suns defeat Memphis Grizzlies to end skid Dragic’s basket in final seconds puts an end to 7-game skid By Paul Coro azcentral sports Wed Dec 12, 2012 11:50 PM Goran Dragic’s inner fire stays lit, but it had been raging during a seven-game losing streak. The Suns point guard said, “I feel like scum,” after the streak started with the franchise’s third-worst blowout ever in Detroit. The trip ended in Memphis with Dragic missing a possible game-cinching free throw and getting trapped on a potential game-winning play. In the first meeting, Memphis had grabbed 15 offensive rebounds for 22 second-chance points that beat Phoenix in overtime last week. Dudley grabbed six of his nine rebounds on the offensive end for a welcome change from a season in which his rebound average had been cut in half from last season. View from press row: Shannon Brown shared the team lead in scoring but it is a misleading column when he was inefficient as he was from the field. Brown made 5 of 19 shots with a team-high three turnovers. He has not made half of his shots in games with at least five attempts since a Nov. 9 game against Cleveland. In the past three games, Brown is 17 for 55, a massive chunk of the Suns’ attempts.
