And Grant Hill remains a defensive presence. But Hill and Channing Frye barely contribute on offense. 當太陽逐漸在聯盟的山頭西沉時，Gortat儼然成為一位價值連城的先發中鋒。另一方面， Hill仍保持防守時的存在感。但在攻擊層面上Hill和福來幾乎沒啥貢獻。 Back court 後場Ｂ＋ Steve Nash is still a Sun, still an All-Star, still a talent most players would hope to be in their physical primes while he does it at 38. Jared Dudley has done solid work. 老大依舊是太陽明星級的球隊一哥，38歲的他仍然保持著眾多好手夢寐以求的好體能。 Dudley仍守好他的本分。 Defence 防守　Ｃ－ There are signs of improvement from the backslide of last season. It's a start. Not a complete return to the days of credible showings, even if their reputation was stuck on Run-n-Gun Suns, but a start. 對照低迷的上季，防守有進步的跡象。這只是個開始，雖然不代表回到往日那不可思議的表現，縱使他們是以跑轟聲名遠播的太陽，但至少是個(改善防守的)開始。 Bench 板凳　Ｄ Rookie Markieff Morris is contributing at the outset of what will become a long career. But there is little other reason to be encouraged. Nash is a great comfort. Beyond the point guard, though, few Suns are regularly dependable, especially on the front line. Gentry這球季幾乎每晚都在想怎麼端出一盤好菜，這是件苦差事。令Gentry安慰的是他還有身居前線的老大可以幫忙指揮調度。 OVERALL Ｃ－ The challenge is to move forward with large parts of the roster while also in a self-induced holding pattern. It's not just about whether the Suns deal Nash before the trade deadline, either. They can keep him, to the delight of Phoenix fans, but that only delays a resolution on the future of the most important player, until summer free agency. Same with Hill and a possible life beyond Planet Orange.
