It appears as though Suns general manager Steve Kerr has decided to hold onto
All-Star forward Amaré Stoudemire.
During a conversation with RealGM's Jarrod Rudolph in Phoenix earlier this
week, Amaré pledged his dedication to the team.
"You do think about that, but you've got to block it out and really focus on
what you have at hand," Stoudemire said of the feelings he would have towards
the franchise if they opted to keep him after shopping his name.
"I still have another year and a half left on my contract, so I'm going to
give the Phoenix Suns everything I've got."
Stoudemire was also happy that the All-Star festivities where in Phoenix this
season, which allowed him to relax during the most hectic time of year in the
NBA.
"It's somewhat of a distraction to the trade rumors, I've really been able to
enjoy myself here with All-Star weekend and have fun, and that's the most
important thing," he said.
