Tucker to Undergo Arthroscopic Knee Surgery Tuesday
After playing so well in training camp and in the preseason, Suns swingman
Alando Tucker had his momentum put on pause when he was forced to sit out the
first three games of the regular season with injured hamstrings. With the
pain trickling down from his hamstrings to the back of his knee, team doctor
Thomas Carter decided to take a closer glance at Tucker’s left knee.
After checking it out, Dr. Carter decided that it would be best to clean out
any particles floating around in Tucker’s left knee by performing a small
arthroscopic surgery Tuesday.
“He’s been bothered the last couple of weeks by some inflammation that didn
’t really respond well to rest and rehab,” President of Basketball
Operations and GM Steve Kerr said. “Rather than risk it being an issue all
year long, we’re going to get in there and take care of it now.”
Tucker should be able to resume practice in a couple of weeks.
With Tucker leading Phoenix’s summer league team in scoring as well as
finishing third on the club in scoring during the preaseason, the second-year
man seemed poised to make a run at cracking a rotation that eluded him last
season. But from at least one account, the setback doesn’t seem to be
troubling Tucker.
“Alando is wise beyond his years,” Kerr added. “He understands the big
picture and he just wants to get right before he gets back out on the court.”
在訓練營完美的日子結束之後，大眼男孩Tucker可能得從奔跑模式再度回到坐板凳模
式了。原本他覺得只是拉傷，可是後來膝蓋也開始痛，於是醫龍團決定幫他做徹底檢查。
最後他們決定幫Tucker動個小小的＂關節鏡手術!!!!!!＂，來打掃他膝蓋裡的雜物。
“他最近兩周都不舒服，放在那邊等它好似乎也沒用。”科科說。”與其讓他整年都
被套牢，還不如現在就認賠殺出。”
Tucker應該幾周後就可以開始練習。(還好還好……)
在夏季聯盟裡，Tucker用他的大眼睛嚇死了所有對手，還是聯盟得分榜第三名。他今
年拼死拼活想讓波特採取十一人輪替，不過看起來，這個夢想得晚一點實現了。
“奧蘭朵有著超越他年齡的成熟。”科科還在說：”他知道來日方長，他希望能恢復
健康再回到球場。”
Tucker加油，大家一起集氣吧！！！
看到關節鏡手術這個字差點嚇死我了……
還好，他的傷應該沒有阿罵那時候嚴重。
