Phoenix had 18 turnovers as opposed to San Antonio's 17 turnovers. I know all of Planet Orange was nervous with Shaq out on the court playing with five fouls but I have to think the Spurs guards were nervous knowing that if Shaq was going to foul out, he was going to earn that last one. However, one call that stands out in my mind as especially painful was the goaltending whistle on Shaq as he snatched the rebound from a Finely three-point attempt while it was still above the rim. It wasn't controversial so much as it was tough to deal with after such a close game. There is an extra day of rest in there for both teams, but the Spurs had to scratch and claw for their win and can't be feeling too energetic tonight. Parker and Ginobili, however, may have some spring in their step because they may have taken the first half off. The pair combined to shoot 4-16 in the first two quarters and Ginobili finished the half hitting just one shot in seven attempts. While I can't pretend to know what it's like to see a seven footer clamoring toward me, I did see something even scarier. This guy... The Suns kept their composure the entire game and played the game they wanted to play. Tim Duncan got whistled for a charge on Steve Nash in the third quarter and exploded with anger. He walked away and avoided giving Phoenix an extra point, but it was very close. While basketball is a tough sport to judge, I lucked out and captured the moment with my camera. Steve is braced for impact, clearly outisde the circle, and Tim is, ahem, charging right toward him.
