Q & A with Suns guard Steve Nash by Paul Coro - Apr. 18, 2008 02:53 PM The Arizona Republic [請按 Page down 觀賞] Suns point guard Steve Nash shares his thoughts entering his 10th postseason. Nash分享了在他過去這10年裡的季後賽想法。 What does it do for the series to have faced San Antonio so often in recent years? "When you play someone so much, the familiarity makes the games stickier. It makes every possession more valuable because each team knows exactly what's going to happen. The playoffs become a little bit more of a tug of war because of that." We've been there before. But together, we haven't. It's going to be fun to try to build together as we go through this thing. I think you've got to wash it all out. It was nice to beat them in the season series but now it's a totally new game. You have to raise your level. They're going to raise their level." "Every series plays itself out differently. Sometimes, we lose home-court right away. Other times, we hold it. I'm not sure if it's the best or not. Sometimes, it puts you under a lot of pressure to have home court. I really fee like it's neither here nor there. The first game is obviously huge. If you can win the first game, no matter if you're home or on the road, it's a huge advantage. Our goal is to go down there and win one of the first two." Q: 在這一系列戰裡，你們是沒有主場優勢的，這對你來說會造成什麼樣的影響嗎? How much does getting a championship mean to you? "If I ever play like it doesn't mean anything to me, then they can say something. I think I play my butt off. I train my butt off. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find someone in the league who works harder than I do. If anybody thinks that it's not important enough to me, I think they're mistaken.
