趕在 Windows 7 前推出
據手機業者表示，微軟 (Microsoft) 新一代的智慧型手機 (smartphone) 作業系統 Wind
ows Mobile 6.5 已接近正式發表日期，微軟已和手機業者有進一步測試，已接近最後釋
出版本 (Release Candidate, RC)，將可能趕在 Windows 7 上市前推出，會在 9 月就正
式發表。
儘管已在 6 月的 Computex 展中看到 Windows Mobile 6.5 在手機上的實機表現，但微
軟對於推出日程仍三緘其口。
手機業者看好 WM 6.5 表現
微軟 PC 作業系統 Windows 7 正式發佈日程將在 10 月 22 日，但手機作業系統 Window
s Mobile 6.5 到底何時推出，微軟目前僅表示 Windows Mobile 6.5 會在下半年推出。
但相關的智慧型手機製造商已拿到接近最終版本的 Windows Mobile 6.5 作業系統，私下
表示相關測試已接近完成，推出時間已近。
除了舊有的部份 Windows Mobile 6.1 智慧型手機可升級至 Windows Mobile 6.5 外，宏
達電 (HTC) 也已準備好將直接出貨內建 Windows Mobile 6.5 的智慧型手機，包括已曝
光的 HTC Leo (HTC Firestone 100)、HTC Thoth 100、HTC Mega 都將直接搭載 Windows
Mobile 6.5，但規劃上市時程都是在 10 月以後。能不能在 9 月就看見 Windows Mobil
e 6.5 正式發表，頗讓人期待。
