Chris Webber doesn't have the quickness or athleticism of his younger days, but the veteran forward still knows how to make things happen. Tinsley sparked an 18-7 second-quarter run with eight points as the Pacers narrowed the halftime deficit to 47-43 despite 1-of-8 shooting from O'Neal. But Wallace dominated the early minutes of the third quarter, scoring 14 in a 22-10 run that gave the Pistons a 69-53 lead. Detroit wouldn't make a basket for more than 11 minutes, however, as the Pacers came storming back behind the suddenly hot O'Neal to tie it. Webber scored twice in Detroit's 10-point counterpunch but the Pacers weren't quite done, scoring six in a row in just under a minute to close to 91-87.
