[北美] 美光徵Supply Manager

組裡有開Category Supply Manager的缺，based in San Jose，四月底後一周要進辦公室
三天，是要找New Grad或工作經歷比較短的candidate，但如果有經驗比較豐富不介意的
也可以試試。
希望有supply chain學歷(supply chain/IM/IE)最好做過procurement/sourcing/
operation/或其他supply chain function，如果有電子零組件(主動元件)/製造業/
半導體產業的經驗加分; 工具的話，Excel用的很熟就行，SAP的經驗加分。
上班時間比較有挑戰性，因為需要和亞洲team溝通，下午和傍晚會固定有會比較忙。但
也因為這樣，組裡的上班時間很彈性，只要上手後，每週工時應該是正常。
TC可以參考Glassdoor上的數字；公司移民政策友善，會sponsor然後H1B也一定給抽，正

Title: Category Supply Manager

As a Buyer, you will be the primary category point of contact for supplier
interactions, performance management, and negotiations for the site.
In this role, you will work with partners to build comprehensive view of
supplier performance for continued sourcing success.
You will participate and/or lead in the development and implementation of
category strategies and projects related but not limited to cost reduction
initiatives, supply base optimization, and pricing/contract negotiation.
As a Category Supply Manager for Micron you will be responsible for obtaining
materials, components, equipment, and services. Performs cost analysis and
volume planning for major commodities. Acquires and maintains technical
understanding of products purchased. Coordinates purchasing activities with
manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned
levels. As required, monitors the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned
subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. May recommend cost saving
proposals including make vs. buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor
evaluation criteria.
Responsibilities:
Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships
Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts
Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs
Support capital budgeting and cash flow management, and the execution of
Global Procurement strategies
Handle cost saving initiatives and metric
Implement cost savings and process improvement programs
Have deep knowledge to serve as a consultant for procurement process and
supplier issues.
Support site audits
