Re: Internship Opportunity (面試經過)
感謝 Baudelaire 提供的這個訊息 更感謝他幫我轉履歷給這個 team
讓我這個到五月還沒找到 intern 的人能有面試的機會
[過程與背景]
幾天前看到 B 大提供的這個訊息 心想絕對不能錯過這個好機會
所以即使 B 大只說寄履歷過去 我還是在週末花了些時間寫 cover letter
畢竟這個可以解釋自己如何地符合資格 對要求面試來說應該是可以加分的
把東西寄給 B 大之後 在 ptt 上跟他小聊了一下
知道這個 team 要的是一個有 information retrieval 背景的人
雖然我做 IR 的時間並不長 不過他還是幫我轉履歷
我大概是禮拜天把我的履歷跟 cover letter 寄給 B 大
想不到禮拜一下午就有人打電話來詢問
原來是他們之前談好的 intern 後來都因為老闆暑假不放人
所以先打電話來確定真的暑假可以來
我感覺比較驚訝的是 .... 這通電話是說中文滴~ :D
然後今天(禮拜二)就有人打電話來面試了
可見五月找 intern 真的是雙方都很急 :P
[面試經過]
面試我的應該是個中國人 不過全程都是用英文
因為他們要找的人要有 IR 背景
所以面試的一半時間是在問我之前做過跟 IR 有關的 project
因為這個每個人面試都不一樣 所以我就不多說了
只能說對自己在履歷上寫有做過的 project 要很了解
到時才能夠很順利地回答問題
剩下的一半時間就是問我一些基本的 C++ 問題
看來這個 intern 應該是大部份是用 C++ 來寫程式
因為不是像 M$ 會問的那種 puzzle 所以我就不寫我怎麼回答啦 看看書就知道了
inheritance 是什麼？
polymorphism 是什麼？ ( <-- 我回答成了 overload ... 真是該死了我)
static variable 是什麼？
stack 與 heap 的差別
virtual interface (virtual function) 是什麼？
hash table 與 tree 的差別
pass by reference 與 pass by value 的差別與對 performance 的影響
後來再問了說對 unix 系統熟不熟 有沒有在上面寫過程式
我都據實回答
[面試之後]
掛電話後的沒幾分鐘 之前的那位就再打電話來
說覺得應該還可以 他會再請 recruiter 與我聯絡
所以 .... 就等結果吧
最後還是要感謝 B 大幫忙轉履歷
有拿到 offer 的話 到時碰面再請你吃飯囉 :)
