[閒聊] Weltman談續約Vucevic與UFA
算是前幾天的消息，Jeff Weltman接受電台訪問，其中一部分聊到了VV與UFA的續約。

大致內容是續約VV會是制服組off season的優先工作，但VV的UFA身份讓球隊沒有直接
match他隊報價的權利。球隊會盡力留下他，但無法保證能否順利續約。另外Weltman
也說季後賽的掙扎表現不會影響他對VV的評價。
接著有一個有意思的問答，主持人問Weltman可能你給了隊上UFA一個報價，接著他們
在外面收到了更好的合約，再拿那份合約回來找你談。

"We're not trying to pay a dollar more than another team. Honestly, if
that's what it takes to bring a guy back we probably don't want that guy
here. We're gonna make what we think is a fair offer... and say look if
you want to be here, this is a fair offer."
"我們不會比其他球隊出更多錢。老實說，如果要這麼做才能把(UFA)球員簽回來的話，
那我們大概不會留人。我們會提出我們認為的合理報價，然後告訴球員如果你想留在這
裡，那麼這就是合理的出價。"
簡單說制服組的目標是留下VV，但不會為了留人而去競價(就算喊到頂薪，VV的鳥權也
讓魔術有出價優勢)
印象中這是第一次Weltman在續約議題上對協商原則有比較明確的發言，不過內容或許
不算太意外。從季中交易截止後，Weltman對於VV的續約的問題除了一貫表達他希望VV
回歸，也總是會曖昧的補充續約不是球團單方面的決定，球員也會有他們的選擇。
另外上週稍早球團Exit Interview與媒體的QA時間中，VV對續約問題也有著類似回答：
"Everybody knows I've had a great seven years here," Vucevic said. "But at
the same time, we'll see what happens. It's a mutual decision, and it's not
just me. They have to decide what they want to do and based on that, we'll
go from there."
"所有人都知道我在這有著美好的七年時光，但同時我們要看看接下來會如何。這(續
約)是一個雙方的決定，不只是我，他們(球團)也必須決定他們想怎麼做，在這基礎上
我們才能接著談下去"
