[新聞] Magic Admit To Talking Trade With Raptors
GM Otis Smith revealed that he had conversations with the Toronto Raptors
that could have led to Hedo Turkoglu's return to the Magic.
"We've had conversations with Toronto, though nothing transpired," Smith said.
A Turkoglu return would be costly to the Magic in terms of salary. The
Raptors still owe about $44 million to the forward over the next four
seasons, including a player option for 2013-14.
The Magic had no interest in paying Turkoglu that amount of money when he
became a free agent last summer.
