Orioles' Hardy hoping to get a new deal during break

Most players have some plan or another for the All-Star break. Baltimore
Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy(notes), who will be a free agent at season's
end, would like to spend part of his signing a new contract extension, the
Baltimore Sun reports.
大多數球員在明星賽休息時都有些計畫，據Baltimore Sun報導，金鶯游擊手
J.J. Hardy本季結束會是自由球員，他想要趁此刻簽個新的延長合約。
"I hope it gets done during the break," he said, according to the Sun. "I
don't know if it will. Right now, the ball is kind of in their court. That's
where it's at."
他提到：『我希望這休假就能搞定，雖然不知道是否能順利，但現在發球權就在
他們手上，也是說合約決定權在那。』
Hardy told the paper that he's optimistic about the way talks have gone.
However, if the team can't get a deal done before the trade deadline at the
end of July, the O's would likely consider moving him, the paper notes.
