LMFAO 乃是由 Redfoo、SkyBlu 兩位來自美國西岸的宅男叔姪（猜猜看誰是叔叔？）所組
成的 electro hop 無厘頭電音嘻哈團體。儘管兩人僅差了四歲，輩分可是差了一截；他
們的祖父（其中一人的父親）乃是大名鼎鼎的 Motown Records 摩城唱片（就是發掘麥克
傑克森的東家）的創辦人 Berry Gordy，不過他們的列祖列宗對於 LMFAO 的發跡可沒幫
到一點忙。唯一幫到忙的，可能就是他們的外婆（也就是其中一人的母親啦）在聽到他們
要組團時所丟出來的評語「LMFAO（Laughing My Fucking Ass Off = 笑尬喀噌攏溜落去
）！」竟無心插柳地變成了他們的團名，還在無形之中讓他們成為了網路世代的宅男新寵
！

LMFAO is an electro-hop group from Los Angeles, California that consists of
DJ/rappers Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy-33) and SkyBlu (Skyler Gordy-29).
Stefan is Skyler's uncle.The group's name comes from an Internet conversation
that SkyBlu had with his grandmother's brother.LMFAO is typically used as an
initialism for Laughing My Fucking Ass Off. LMFAO is currently signed to
Interscope Records.
"We're definitely not a band that's shy. We love to hear ourselves talk. We
want to be seen as much as possible. We want to be so big that we can't even
walk down the street." Mark the words of Redfoo, the programming brain behind
electro-hip hop duo LMFAO, who, along with his cohort (and nephew) Sky Blu,
have already initiated a full-scale assault on the clubs. In the last year
alone, three self-produced and self-distributed LMFAO tracks — "I'm In Miami
Bitch," "Lil' Hipster Girl" and "Yes" — have become as ubiquitous on the
dance floor as any hit by the likes of Rihanna or T.I., while remixes of
Fergie's "Clumsy," Kanye West's "Love Lockdown" and Katy Perry's "Hot 'N'
Cold," have lent instant credibility to two guys who've turned clowning
around into an art form and a business.
