為何我們沒得到 Gasol 的原因

Rod Thorn said his team never got involved in the pursuit of Pau Gasol, who
was sent to the Lakers yesterday for a promising rookie point guard the
Grizzlies didn't need (Jarvis Crittenton), two draft picks that figure to be
in the mid-20s, and expiring contracts.
"They've been shopping him for a while. They were looking to clear cap space
and (get) draft picks," Thorn said of Memphis. "In the short term, it really
strengthens the Lakers."
The Nets didn't have the salaries to get up to Gasol's $13.7 million. The
Grizzlies have no interest in Vince Carter ($13M), and even if the Nets were
going to sacrifice one of their three youngest players, they couldn't put
together enough contracts to match that of the Memphis center.

Thorn 說 我們沒有在追求 Pau Gasol 的交易中，
灰熊要清自己的薪資空間，所以之前在拍賣 Gasol，
也所以最後交易來了 Javaris，還有兩個選秀權。
若真要交易 如何 Match Gasol 13.7M的薪水呢？
VC 13 M，是可以的，
但灰熊並不需要也不想要 VC ，因為他們要清空間和以 Gay 重建。
除非籃網要交易他們三個年輕的球員之一
( Marcus Williams, Sean Williams, or Josh Boone )
但薪資就不足夠 Match 了，這也是沒辦法換來 Gasol 的原因。
我們也就換個 Swift 回來了，
Swift 跟灰熊關係處不好， Collins 可以幫他們提供防守。
也完成了這個交易。
