Holland in the Finals!!! We all knew it, now we can say it…
我們進決賽啦!!!
Wow, we’re there!36 years after “1974〃! 32 years after “1978〃!
Kees Kist, Jan Peters, Ruud Gullit, Rob de Wit, Marco van Basten, Dennis
Bergkamp, Jan Wouters, Ronald Koeman, Frank Rijkaard, Marc Overmars, Frank &
Ronald, Edgar, Clarence, Jaap, Edwin…so many great great players never got to
play it.
基斯特、彼得斯、古力特、德維特、范巴斯騰、冰王子、沃特斯、科曼、里杰卡爾德、奧
維馬斯、迪包爾兄弟、戴維斯、西豆腐、斯塔姆、范德薩blah blah blah，很多偉大的球
員都沒打過世界盃決賽。
It, being…THE WORLD CUP FINALS!!
這一刻終於來了，世界盃決賽!!
And wow, what a cagey game…. Nerves, tactics, bluff, mistakes, nerves again,
guts, posts… It had it all.
Do I need to go into detail? Who hasn’t seen this epic battle?
我需要來描述細節嗎? 還有誰沒看過這場史詩般的比賽?
But, to be honest. Uruguay deserves our respect! Because they were expected to
sit tight and absorb pressure. But they didn’t. Coach Tabares woke up
thinking “offense is your best defense” and instead of waiting for Oranje to
make mistakes, they forced Oranje to make mistakes. And whenever the Uru’s
could, they took the game to us. Well done!
但是說實話，烏拉圭是支值得我們尊重的球隊!原本預期烏拉圭會擺好陣式，打防守反擊
，但是他們沒有。烏拉圭教練Tabares認為進攻就是最好的防守，他們不採取守勢等待橘
子軍犯錯，而是主動出擊逼使我們犯下錯誤。無論如何，烏拉圭給了我們一場很棒的比賽
。
I thought it was game over when Mr Eternal Youth, our Skipper Gio took the
ball on his left as he can do every now and then… He did it at Feyenoord as a
youngster, at Glasgow Rangers, Arsenal, Barca and once before in Amsterdam
wearing the Oranje jersey (against Scotland or Ireland?)… As if he’s getting
annoyed with all the knitting, passing and moving, he simple takes the ball
and hammers it home. Gone is the Jabulani discussion. Messi take note! Or
Robin take note, for that matter… Inside post: 1-0.
在范隊彷彿回到從前般一腳遠射破網後，我以為比賽結束了…年輕時范隊在飛燕諾德、格
拉斯哥流浪者、槍手、巴薩以及身披橘色球衣在阿姆斯特丹面對蘇格蘭還是愛爾蘭的時候
，都有類似的遠射。砲彈般的遠射直衝球門，擦到內側門柱後進網，1-0。
A dream goal.
夢幻般的進球。
Obviously, scenario should have been…. Oranje sits back a tad and counter
footballs it’s way to 2-0 and eventually the 6-0 I predicted….
顯而易見的，正如前幾場勝利一樣，在取得進球後，橘子軍會退回後場防守，採取防守反
擊，再抓住對手破綻擴大比分。
But no.

Instead, the ref allows De Zeeuw’s head to be chopped off and while Demy is
being treated our team lacks focus and organization allowing Diego Forlan to
shine. And what a goal that was… Wasn’t it, MAARTEN??? Where were you?
德澤烏被爆頭後下場治療的同時，我們缺乏注意力導致佛藍進了一球世界波。
In Steke’s defens, the ball did swirl and in his defense, he wasn’t 100% fit.
以史特克倫伯格的能力來說，這球應該要擋掉的，但是他並沒有準備好。
But, 1-1… Anything could happen. And in the second half, it almost did!
Bert van Marwijk made the move that would change the game, in our favor.
Although De Zeeuw’s injury forced him to… De Zeeuw’s jaw might have been
fractured and the Ajax midfielder couldn’t play on. Too bad for him, but in
all honesty, De Zeeuw was our weak link. Was it nerves. Rustiness. We won’t
know, but his passing was below par and he was searching for where to run and
position himself…
下半場范馬爾維克作出了對我們有利的調度進而改變了比賽。來自阿賈克斯的中場大將德
澤烏因為下巴骨裂無法繼續上場，雖然對他是很糟的情況，但說實話，德澤烏今天不在狀
態上，不知道是太緊張還是太久沒打比賽生鏽了，他的傳球沒有發揮水準，跑位也不夠好
。
Rafael van der Vaart came on and Bert’s intentions were clear:
“Aaaanvalllluhhh….!!” (attack!). Rafael got a good chance himself and was
able to link up with Robin van Persie while Sneijder got some respite from Raf
’s coming on. It did mean Mark van Bommel was a bit more exposed but with the
help of Boulah ( good game, with some not too good moments…) and Heitinga,
Mark stayed in charge of midfield.
范白頭換上范德法特的意圖很明顯，攻擊!!!!范德法特得到一些機會而他也成功與范佩西
打出配合，小斯也因VDV上場獲得了喘息的機會。惡人在獲得博拉滷汁和海廷加的掩護後
，逐漸控制中場。
It did take some chances before we scored, but Sneijder’ 2-1 (his fifth!) was
an example of the flowing football we’d like to see more. Interesting also,
how Wesley clearly demanded the ball which I believe was meant for Kuyt.
在第二粒進球前我們有些機會，小斯本屆第五顆進球讓比數改寫成2-1，而這球也是我們
想看到的流暢足球。
A hint of Van Persie being off side, but the replay showed it was very close
and most probably level. The Uru-defenders did touch the ball and that made me
feel better re: Robin’s offside-ness….
范佩西可能越位了，但是重播顯示這是非常接近的，幾乎處在同一平行線上。
We had a good phase after that and should have (there we go again) scored
twice at least… The fact that Robben scored with his head, yet again, and for
the third time via the post on a pitch-perfect Kuyt cross should have sealed
the deal.
在第二粒進球後我們持續攻擊，靠特一記傳中，羅本頭錘頂入死角。
Time for Robin to score. Or maybe Elia when he came on?
羅本也該進球了。或許愛你呀也該來上一球?
But no… We allowed the ferocious Uruguyans back into the game when we dozed
off and they took their chances… With a couple of minutes remaining, any
scenario was possible but the Gods were kind to us, yet again and Holland
plays the FINALS ON SUNDAY!!!!!
沒有…兇猛的烏拉圭在橘子軍後防線打瞌睡的時候把握住進球機會，讓比賽起了懸念…但
是上帝對我們很好，冠軍戰我們來了!!!
