Nationals catcher Ivan Rodriguez not the answer for Giants

When 2010 National League Rookie of the Year Buster Posey(notes) went down in
a heap after a collision at the plate, the San Francisco Giants supposedly
gave the Washington Nationals a call to ascertain what it would take to
obtain veteran catcher Ivan Rodriguez(notes).
USA Today is now reporting that while the Giants are still looking for a
replacement for their injured star catcher, the team doesn't think Rodriguez
is the answer.
