The Nationals made several roster moves on Monday. They reassigned
pitchers Collin Balester, Rob Bell, Eude Brito, Bobby Brownlie, Adam
Carr, Brian Sanches, Jason Stanford and Dennis Tankersley, shortstop
Ian Desmond, outfielder Jason Dubois, catcher Javier Herrera, first
baseman Luis Jimenez and infielder Ed Rogers to Minor League camp.
The Nationals also optioned outfielders Rogeravin Bernadina and Justin
Maxwell to Double-A Harrisburg, pitchers Tyler Clippard and Garrett
Mock and first baseman Josh Whitesell to Triple-A Columbus and left-
hander Ross Detwiler to Class-A Potomac.
