Toni Nadal Reiterates Rafa will Rejoin the Tour at the Rogers Cup
Toni叔重申Nadal會在Rogers Cup重返球場
He had anticipated it a few days ago, now he’s confirmed it. In the press con
ference at the Mallorca Open, on Thursday, Toni Nadal revealed that Rafa will
return to action at the Rogers Cup, Toronto, which starts on 25th July.
Toni叔幾天前有提到預估Nadal會在Rogers Cup回歸, 現在他確認了. 在周四Mallorca公
開賽的記者會上他證實在7/25的Rogers Cup上回歸.
'Rafa's recovery is going well and in two weeks, he'll start training on the c
ourt, Cotorro told us. We will not take part in the Davis Cup tie against Roma
nia [in mid-July], our plan is to play in Toronto because that will be good fo
r us. It will be a good preparation,' said Toni.
Nadal的醫生Cotorro跟團隊說Rafa復原地很好, 兩周後會開始上場練習.

The Nadals’ priority is to play the Olympic Games where Rafa will play single
s, doubles and mixed doubles. 'I'm optimistic of Rafa's chances to play the Ol
ympics. First step is to be healthy and then fight for medals, which is our go
al. Let's hope it can be won in singles or, if not, in doubles,' added Toni.
參加奧運還是Nadal的第一優先, 他會參加單打,雙打,以及混雙. Toni叔說:"我對於他打
奧運是樂觀的. 我們的目標第一步是保持健康, 然後為獎牌奮鬥. 我們希望可以拿到單打
的獎牌, 或者雙打的獎牌"
One of the major causes of concern for athletes is the prevalence of the Zika
virus in the Olympics host nation. But Toni’s not much worried about it and c
ommenting about it, said, 'I haven't talked to Rafa about Zika. [But] We've al
ready been in Rio and nothing has happened to us.'
另外一個對運動員來說重要的顧慮是如何避免茲卡病毒的威脅. 但是Toni叔不太擔心:"我
沒有跟Rafa討論過茲卡病毒, 我們已經參加過Rio公開賽, 也沒發生任何問題"
