Posada gets good news on shoulder By Peter Abraham The Journal News ‧ April 10, 2008 KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jorge Posada had surgery on his right shoulder after the 2001 season to repair a small tear in his labrum. He woke up yesterday morning worried he would be repeating that experience. The problem became magnified on Tuesday when the Royals stole four bases in the first four innings and Posada was unable to make accurate throws to second. He was taken out after the fifth inning. Gonzalez, 24, played 12 games for the Yankees last September and was 1 for 14. He was hitting .353 over five games for Scranton this season. After a productive spring training, Duncan played in only two of the first eight games, going 1 for 5. The Yankees considered putting Ensberg on the disabled list because of a twisted left ankle.
