Research Associate – Semiconductor team
Main Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to analyze industry macr
o trends and company financials under the direction of the Senior analyst.
The candidate will build and maintain financial models and industry databases
insuring correct and up-to-date information for research reports that are dist
ributed to internal/external clients.
The candidate will also review business and trade publications, annual reports
, financial filings and other sources in order to gather, synthesize and inter
pret data on companies followed by the Senior analyst. Analyst supporting work
covers downloading/ creating industry data, inputting company’s financial da
ta, analyzing industry/ company’s fundamentals.
The candidate will be responsible for writing and publishing research reports
as well as communicating recommendations to sales, trading and clients. Report
writing work covers writing industry/ company’s report in collaborating with
the senior analyst in the team.
In addition, the candidate will help develop marketing materials for clients,
meet with management teams of companies and attend industry conferences where
appropriate.
Based on his skill set and human resource management in the research departmen
t we might consider different task and assignment going forward.
Basic Qualifications
뜠 Bachelor’s degree
뜠 1+ years related financials/insurance research or investment banking
experience required
뜠 1+ years of solid experience in business modelling and financial sta
tement analysis
Preferred Qualifications
뜠 MBA/Master’s a plus
뜠 CFA preferred.
뜠 Industry experience will be considered
뜠 Strong analytical and problem solving skills
뜠 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
뜠 Knowledge of covered companies a plus
뜠 Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
뜠 Demonstrated ability to work in a time sensitive environment
뜠 Ability to work effectively in a team environment
뜠 Strong interest in the subject matter
뜠 Resourcefulness, entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership qualit
ies
뜠 Strong PC literacy or demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly
