business with operations localized in over thirty countries. The company manages
an online auction and shopping website in which people and businesses buy and
sell a broad variety of goods and services worldwide. In China, eBay operates a
Cross Border Trade business that enables sellers in Greater China to offer
goods to buyers worldwide.
Shift: Day
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The Trust & Safety Intern will be perform fundamental analytical tasks in
SAS/SQL to identify fraud/risk patterns, create customer facing educational
contents, and perform research for eBay policy enforcement and support on
internal communications.
Job Requirements:
- Statistics, computer science, business or finance backgrounds is preferred
- Data manipulation skills in: SAS/SQL/Excel
- Must have very strong communication skills: conflict resolution, stakeholder
management, negotiation, customer satisfaction, diplomacy, rapport building,
and decision making
- Able to clearly and concisely articulate a series of logical arguments
- Fluency in Mandarin, English (Ideal)
Work Location: Xinyi District, Taipei
Shift Requirements: 3-5 days per week, minimum 6~12 month term
