【Company introduction】
A foreign investment firm is looking for Equity Research Associates.
Candidate will call companies, attend meetings & conferences, assess
earnings results, and have the opportunity to learn about global
technology, industry trend, and valuation.
【Main Duties and Responsibilities】
1.Assess and study company’s financial statements, press release, conference
calls and related information and write reviews on quarterly earnings
results.
2.Create forward looking models including income statement, balance sheet,
cash flow statements, and other financial data.
3.Learn valuation.
4.Call and visit companies on a regular basis to update company outlook, and
study food chain and eco-system of industry.
5.Attend tech/industrial forums and learn about current industry demand and
trend.
6.Update weekly prices and financial ratios of coverage companies.
7.Maintain monthly revenue and quarterly result models.
8.Co-work with other research staff.
【Job description】
Will be based in Taipei, mainly support tech sector globally.
Major responsibilities include financial model building, review/assessment/
meeting notes writing, and company visiting.
【Basic Qualifications】
Bachelor’s degree at minimal, master degree strongly preferred
Accounting/Finance/Electrical Engineering major preferred, but open to others
who have strong passion and interests.
【Preferred Qualifications】
1.Strong analytical and problem solving skills
2.Strong written and verbal communication skills
3.Knowledge of coverage companies and industries a plus
4.Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
5.Demonstrated ability to work in a time sensitive environment
6.Ability to work effectively in a team environment
7.Strong interest in the subject matters
8.Resourcefulness, entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership qualities
9.Strong PC literacy or demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly
10.Fluency in spoken and written English is required
11.Good team player with strong communication skill and detail-oriented
personality
12.Computer skills in Excel and Word are required, and TEJ and Bloomberg
skill is a plus
