〈英作‧又來囉〉017
哈哈 各位親愛的好朋友們
當你們看到這行字的時候
在不知名的遠方 真的 有我 還有很多學弟妹在感謝你
沒有看到標題就跳過XD
離學測的到來只剩下兩個禮拜了 在大家陸續走出期末風暴的同時
我們也積磊了自十二月下旬以來一些甜蜜的負荷
雖然說 實際上寄來給我們改的英作不如想像的多
那麼 就給這些努力寫來的孩子們最後一哩的加持吧!
(還有一些人是前兩週怯生生地沒有寄 受到同班同學鼓勵之後才寄來的喔)
好啦 所以我要開始貼了xd

Topic: A chemical corporation has decided to establish a chemical plant in
your neighborhood. Some of your neighbors are for its construction, while
some are against it. What's your attitude? Explain why.
The thing I am afraid of most is that the chemical pollutions produced by
the plant will contaminate the environment in our neighborhood. Maybe the
chemical plant will release poisonous gasses and polluted water which will
threaten our health. I agree that a plant established in our neighborhood
bring working opportunities and solve the problem unemployment. In addition,
it will make our city become prosperous. But the payment of these is a
polluted environment and an inhospitable surrounding.
However, there are still some people in favor of the construction. They
believed that the plant will be equipped with good environment facilities and
that it will do no harm on people. They also think there are more advantages
than disadvantages, because it can solve many economical problems instantly.
In my opinion, where there is an industrial plant, there are many
contaminants. No matter how nice the facility is, a plant will definitely
produce some contaminants, especially the chemical industry. There are still
many poisonous substances which human can't handle. What's worse, many greedy
plants' owners are unwilling to pay for poison solving, because many
poison-solving procedures cost a large amount of money. Therefore, I think
that a chemical plant will definitely contaminate the environment. Despite
the fact that it will solve many financial problems, I still can't agree on
this project. It will solve many problems temporarily, but it will also cause
many permanent damages. With all above reasons, I insist that the plant
should not be established in our neighborhood.
Ironically, many goods in our daily lives are produced by the chemical
industry. Hence, there is a contradiction between human's living and
environmental protection. As a result, what we should do is strive for
inventing new materials which won't harm the environment and better
poison-solving procedures to protect our earth.
