題目:We may hear smokers insisting that they have a right to smoke whenever
they choose, including public areas such as restaurants, halls, and offices.
On the other hand, we are constantly reminded that secondary smoke is harmful
to our health. Hence the appeal to restrict smoking in public places, tell
which side you agree with and why.
正文:
In my opinion, it's impolite and immoral for smokers to smoke in a public
area. People do not have the duty to bear the disgusting smell of the smoke,
especially when they are in a meeting or having a meal
What's more, although they have the right to smoke, they don't have the
right to harm other people's health. According to a science report, the
secondary smoke is as harmful as the first hand smoke which smokers inhale
into their lungs. The most harmful composition in the smoke that exhaled by
the smoker is nicotine. The reason that those who inhales a lot of secondary
smoke will get lung cancer easily is just the existence of nicotine. So I
think that smokers shouldn't smoke in a public area.
