smoke We may hear smokers insisting that they have a right to smoke whenever they choose, including public areas such as restaurants, halls, and offices. On the other hand, we are constantly, reminded that secondary smoke is harmful to our health. Hence the appeal to restrict smoking in public places. Tell which side you agree with and why? I think that the right of freedom should be based on the situation that what you do wouldn't cause any harm to anyone else. Smoking is a good example. There are so many people in the world aren't afraid of the harm to themselves and insist on smoking. We can't help it but however, that is their choice. But when it comes to a situation that the choice might cause bad influence on others, the right to choose should be limited. No one can do whatever he wants without any scruple to others, especially in this kind of nowadays society. susan_780705@yahoo.com.tw -- -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 202.178.238.160
