Scholarship Program
Taipei
The Scholar Program is designed for bright and creative students with
exceptional intellectual ability and characteristics who are interested
in a management consulting career.
The training program's purpose is to help students gain an insight into
the realities of management consulting over a 3-month period. The first
program will begin in December and run until the end of February 2007,
and will cover a wide range of activities and events:
Introduction to McKinsey—understand what consulting is about, what
consultants do, how they make an impact
Mini-consulting training—receive McKinsey problem solving training
Case study workshop—conduct a 6-week case
study to experience the entire cycle of a
typical McKinsey project
Cross-strait dialog—hold a video conference with scholars in China
to discuss business and life issues.
All activities will be held either on a Friday afternoon or on a Saturday
to avoid scheduling conflicts. Scholars will work in teams on a case project
under the mentorship of an experienced consultant.

Who is eligible?
Third or fourth year undergraduate or graduate students at top universities
with:
－Outstanding academic records and achievements in extracurricular activities
－Demonstrated leadership ability
－Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
