果然跟我想的一樣
這是丁尼生的The Charge of the Light Brigade(輕騎兵進擊)
片中出現的是這一段：
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred.

另外
這首詩造成了一個"全軍覆沒"的大誤解
片中於是出現了這樣的對話
Garak:"士官長,那首詩的結尾是什麼?"
O'Brien:"呃...你不會想知道的."
但是實際上600多人中只損失了247人...
結尾在此
