Introduction of Lecturer 講席簡介
Sherman is a co-founder of DAC. He is in charge of the business development, clientele development, economic analytics, and recruiting. Sherman is also responsible for the executive delivery of DAC’s works. His relevant DAC project experiences include credit approval, lending product targeting and design, behavior scoring and line optimization, collection intensity, and collection call scheduler.
Before founding DAC, Sherman has 16 years of consulting and financial service industry experiences. He worked in Capital One as the head of Modeling in Risk Operations, Principal in A.T. Kearney, Director for Corporate Development in Primax Electronics, Engagement Manager in McKinsey & Company, and Industry Specialist for financial services in IBM.
Sherman has an MBA from the Wharton School as a Fulbright Scholar. He also has received Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.

DECISION ANALYTICS CONSULTING
DAC is a behavioral marketing consultancy focusing on consumer services. The industry emphases are banking, telecom, insurance, and retailing. We rely heavily on in-depth domain knowledge, advanced quantitative analytics, and hands-on execution to help clients obtain immediate, significant economic gains. Works in DAC are challenging, rewarding, fun, and professional. To meet strong demand for its services, the firm is expanding its professional staff on both the entry and the associate levels. The
positions are based in Taipei.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Apply advanced quantitative techniques to analyze consumer behaviors
? Build customer value models to resemble live business situations in various service sectors, including banking, telecom, and retailing
? Optimize managerial decisions based on quantified economic merits and implementation constraints
? Requires extensive traveling in the Greater China area
REQUIREMENTS:
? NTU or premier foreign universities with preferred majors in engineering, science, or business administration
? Self-motivated achiever
? Exceptional analytical capacity
? Team player
? Enjoying fast changing environment
? The followings are NOT necessary but would definitely be a plus in assignment and compensation:
‧ Relevant experiences in actuarial, data mining, behavioral scoring, credit analysis, economic/financial analysis, consulting, or other analysis-intensive roles
‧ People, team, and project leadership
‧ Proven track records in previous works and outstanding academic achievements
