1. Is it going to spend me a lot of time?
a. It varies from person to person.
However,there will be coding/paper assignments every week. Guess we are
not very easy-going project from past experience. A regular guy
should be able to complete the assignment with half-day to 1 day.
On the other hand, nothing comes out of nothing.
2. What's the topic?
a. Please visit J_Project board on bbs.im.ntu.edu.tw or
http://p2p.im.ntu.edu.tw.
We have file-recommendation, WWW topology discovery, personal data
licensing, and protein 3D folding last semester.
3. Meeting time?
a. We will collectively decide it after confirming our student list.
4. How does it feel like?
a. Well,there should be 3~ 4 teams. Each team has about 2~3 undergraduates
and 2 graduate students. Each team will be studying easy papers such as
some in IEEE, and hard papers such as 70% of ACM. Also, each team will
deliver a prototype of a real system.
We have some internal rules on software development, so there will be
a 1-month training period. We have an open and active group phenomena,
for example, you can pk with senior students in our B-net server and
in group meeting.
