Qualification of the candidates:
1. knowledgeable on TCP/IP protocols, Layer 2 switching protocols, Layer 3
protocols
2. Knowledgeable on SNMP, Cisco Like CLI, Web UI (Java applets)
3. Familiar with Linux programming, kernel programming preferred
4. know CVS, Linux installation, and kernel build
5. C and Linux script programming
The L2 Switch consists of key L2 protocol modules STP, MSTP, RSTP, VLAN,
LACP, Switch Stacking
The L3 Switch consists of key L3 protocol modules RIP v1v2, OSPF, PIM,
DVMRP, IGMP, LLDP, Switch Discovery, Switch Autoconfiguration.
Management Protocols 802.1x, Access Control List, etc.
Management Tool Cisco-like CLI, Web-based GUI
WLAN Switch, 802.11 protocols.
The students conducting the integration tests can learn the protocols from
the work. We are considering to automize the integration test. So, there
are script programs and test programs need to be written. The Software
Engineering is conducted like a software system house in the Silicon Valley.
So, the students will practice the Software Engineering of a real world from
the job.
