Division Description: The Global Equities Division markets the firm's research findings to clients - typically institutional investors - through our network in 32 countries, and provides them with structured products and securities that meet their investment objectives. The division includes cash sales and trading, derivatives and equity finance. The business has a regional overlay covering Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets. The Global Markets Division is responsible for the firm's activities in fixed income, foreign exchange, debt capital markets, mortgage-backed securities, OTC derivatives, money markets and repo, futures and options, metals and commodi- ties and includes the Institutional Client Group and research. The role of this division is to help governments, investors, and corporate and financial insti- tutions to achieve their desired issuing, hedging and investment objectives. Job Requirements: CANDIDATES SHOULD EXPECT A BACHELOR'S/MASTER'S DEGREE DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR 2004. The firm is seeking highly motivated candidates with a strong record of academic achievement as well as a strong interest in finance. Other requirements include superior quantitative and analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities, excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership potential. A commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork is required. Fluency in both written and verbal English is required with proficiency in one or more Asian languages desirable. A relevant work permit for the region that you wish to work in is encouraged but not necessary.
