DMFC現階段與Li-ion電池並用,因為Li-ion電池能瞬間產生高電流去推動一般電器剛啟動時所需的高電流,爾後再用DMFC去維持正常工作下所需的電流

工作原理
PEMFC
Anode:2H2→4H+ + 4e-
Cathode: O2 + 4H+ + 4e-→2H2O
Overall:2H2 + O2→2H2O +heat
DMFC
Anode:CH3OH + H2O→CO2 + 6H+ + 6e-
Cathode:6H+ + 3/2H2O + 6e-→3H2O
Overall: CH3OH + 3/2O2→CO2 + 2H2O +heat

Membrane need (PEM)
◎ keep wet(需加濕)
◎ hydration(水合化合)
DMFC is no need to keep wet because the product includes water.
Key factors of DMFC are pressure, temperature, airflow rate, and methanol concentration. And the factors higher gets the better performance.
